Oxford filmfest to host ‘Blood Feud’

The Oxford International Short Film Festival (OXISFF) is scheduled to host Iranian short film ‘Blood Feud’.

Directed by Sina Rezaei, the short film will be screened at the Kids Today! Section of the British event’s 3rd edition.

‘Blood Feud’ is about two kids who have just made friends. Fatemeh’s expectations of friendship will not be met in this newly made bond.

Fatemeh Fathi, Rezvaneh Asgari, Ra’na Rahmani, Mohammad-Hossein Talebi and Ali Rostami are the cast members of the flick.

The flick will soon be showcased at the Emerging Lens Cultural Film Festival in Canada.

The Oxford International Short Film Festival “celebrates the diversity and creativity of short films”, the event’s website reads, adding “We would like to encourage short films from all filmmakers in any genre (including documentaries). We're looking for great stories which stir the emotions, have strong characters, and unique voices or evocative worlds.”

The 2021 edition of the festival will run on 27 August-4 September.
